About the Project
Top Ville is a digital boarding house management app designed to simplify the experience of searching, renting, and managing boarding house properties in Indonesia.
This project was developed from scratch — covering user research, UX design, system UI, to the development of a mobile application and web dashboard for boarding house owners.
Challenge
Building a Unified Platform for Two Different Types of Users
Initial research shows two main groups of users facing different challenges:
For Cost Finders:
Boarding house information is often inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
Communication to the owner is slow and manual (via WhatsApp).
There is no relevant search system based on facilities, gender and price.
For Owners/Cost Managers:
Tenant recording and payments are still manual in books or Excel.
There is no integration of financial reports and automatic reminders.

The research results confirm the need to create integrated platform between tenants and owners with automated transaction, communication, and property control features.
